Evolution of Value

I’ve been tracking Shag original sales on eBay for many years now and have watched paintings that originally sold through various galleries for around $1000 resell for more than quadruple that amount. In some cases I can only provide an educated guess to the original sale price, but more often than not, they are very close, as I’ve been on gallery waiting lists for years and almost always am provided with the sell price. I will be posting paintings in order of their appearance on eBay since 2000.
